Transforming prioritisation for the Australian Federal Police

The Australian Federal Police had been relying on an unwieldy case prioritisation framework for over 30 years. Recognising the need for change, Q-Zyx stepped in to lead the development of a new Operational Prioritisation Model (OPM). In less than a year, we transformed the concept into a fully functioning method, assigning priorities based on potential harm and the AFP's ability to impact and mitigate it. Capability uplift for Airservices Australia's EPMO

Airservices Australia sought a significant capability uplift across its Enterprise PMO portfolio. Q-Zyx introduced a more pragmatic approach to program and project management, moving away from a 'Rolls Royce' methodology that had alienated delivery teams. Our success hinged on convincing program and project managers of the methodology's value and coaching executives on how to provide effective governance. Strategic review for the UK Broadband Aggregation Programme

The UK's whole-of-government Broadband Aggregation Programme aimed to leverage collective buying power for better telecom deals and expand broadband access. When the program failed to meet its objectives, Q-Zyx conducted an independent review. Our analysis uncovered root causes and presented central government with clear recommendations: either a new operating model or closure. Following our findings, the Steering Committee, including representatives from the Prime Minister's Office, Treasury, and key departments, made the decisive choice to close the program, highlighting the need for strategic clarity.
